Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using “The Kamakura IKIGAI Retreat” (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Service’) provided by enmono Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).
Article 1 (Application)

These Terms aim to define the rights and obligations between the Company and the Customer regarding the use of the Service and apply to all relationships between the Customer and the Company concerning the use of the Service.

By applying for the Service, the Customer is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all provisions of these Terms.
Article 2 (Service Content)
The Service is a non-residential coaching and workshop program providing a 3-day IKIGAI discovery curriculum. Specific details, schedules, and program content are as described on the Company's website. This Service does not include accommodation, transportation, or travel arrangements.
Article 3 (Application and Contract Formation)

The Customer shall apply for the Service using the method specified by the Company (e.g., website application form).

After application, the Company will conduct a mandatory preliminary video interview (approx. 15 minutes) with the Customer to ensure mutual fit for the program.

The contract for the Service is formed when the Company notifies the Customer of its acceptance of the application and the Customer completes the payment of the fee by the deadline specified by the Company.

The Company reserves the right to decline an application in the following cases:

(a) If the applicant's objectives do not align with the program's purpose, as determined during the interview.

(b) If the program is already at maximum capacity.

(c) If the applicant provides false information.

(d) If the Company otherwise deems the applicant unsuitable to participate.

Article 4 (Fees and Payment)
The fees, payment methods, and payment deadlines for the Service shall be as stated separately on the Company's website or in the application guide, including on the "Disclosures under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act" page.
Article 5 (Cancellation by Customer and Changes)

The cancellation policy (including cancellation fees) shall be as stated on the “Disclosures under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act” page.

Requests for schedule changes to a future retreat are permitted once, provided the request is made at least 21 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat and subject to availability in the desired future session.
Article 6 (Minimum Participation and Cancellation by Company)

The minimum participation requirement for the Service is 2 people.

If the number of participants does not reach the minimum, the Company may cancel the Service. The Company will notify the Customer of the cancellation at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start date.

In the event of cancellation under this article, the Company will offer the Customer a choice between a full refund of fees paid or a transfer to a future session.
Article 7 (Customer Responsibilities)
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for the following:

Health and Fitness: Confirming that they are in good physical and mental health to participate in all program activities, including walking meditations (Anbling™).

Insurance: Obtaining adequate personal travel insurance (including medical, cancellation, and liability coverage) for the duration of the retreat. This is strongly recommended.

Accommodation: Arranging and paying for their own accommodation. The Company may provide a list of recommended hotels, but this does not constitute a booking service or endorsement.

Transportation: Arranging and paying for all travel to and from Kamakura, as well as local transportation between their accommodation and the program venues (Zaimokuza Studio, Kita-Kamakura, etc.).

Personal Items: Preparing and managing all personal items, clothing, and medication required for the program.
Article 8 (Prohibited Acts and Termination)

The Customer shall not engage in the following acts:

(a) Acts that cause significant nuisance, distress, or danger to other participants or Company staff.

(b) Unauthorized audio recording, video recording, or filming of program sessions.

(c) Solicitation, sales, or other commercial activities unrelated to the program.

(d) Providing false information to the Company.
-
(e) Damaging Company or venue property.
-
(f) Other acts that obstruct the safe and smooth operation of the program.

If a Customer violates the preceding paragraph, the Company may terminate the Customer's participation in the Service immediately and without any refund.
Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights)
All intellectual property rights for copyrights, workbooks, teaching materials, and other content provided through the Service belong to the Company. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, reprinting, or use for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)

The Customer agrees that participation in the Service is at their own risk.

The Service is an educational and coaching program. It is not, and does not substitute for, medical treatment, psychological therapy, or psychiatric counseling.

The results and experiences from the Service vary by individual, and the Company does not guarantee any specific outcomes or transformations.

The Company shall not be liable for any theft, loss, or damage to the Customer's personal belongings during the program.

The Company shall not be liable for any illness, injury, or accident occurring during the program, unless caused by the Company's intentional misconduct or gross negligence. This disclaimer explicitly includes, but is not limited to:

(a) Accidents or injuries sustained during travel to/from venues or during free time.

(b) The aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions (physical or mental).

(c) Accidents or injuries caused by the Customer's own negligence.

In the event the Service must be canceled due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, epidemics, or other events beyond the Company's reasonable control), the Company will notify Customers promptly and offer either a full refund or a transfer to a future session.
Article 11 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company shall handle the Customer's personal information appropriately, in accordance with the Company's separately defined Privacy Policy.
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
Article 13 (Amendment of Terms)
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms as necessary. In the event of an amendment, the Company will notify Customers by posting the revised Terms on the Company's website. Continued participation in the Service after such notification shall constitute agreement to the amended Terms.
